Redemption!

Published by hockeychic2003 at 12:16 am under Uncategorized Edit This

I feel redeemed.  He did write back! So for a little while I was starting to think that I would be one of the only girls in the entire world that tried on line dating and COULD NOT ACTUALLY GET A DATE!! That still remains to be seen though.  So with Chemistry there are different phases you go through.  They send you matches based on the profile you filled out which is based on random things like if your ring finger is longer than your index figure and how fast you performed one of their tests and questions you answered about what you were looking for.  They send you what are your matches and you have to express whether you have interest in that person.  You can also check out what other people have been interested enough to at least look at your profile and then there are guys who express interest in you.  After that you start exchanging communications if you are both interested in each other you exchange what you’re looking for and then you answer how important certain this are for you and then you pick out questions you want the other person to answer and then FINALLY you are able to communicate via email.  So,…I’ve gotten to the email stage with three guys so far–the firefighter, the economist/statistician , and the police officer.  I think the police officer is off the radar screen so have to bag that one and the economist guy I think asked me out for coffee but really? The same day?? I did actually have plans which entailed tutoring a 12 year old girl but they were changed but he doesn’t necessarily need to know that! I told him I could do something Thursday but he didn’t say anything back which is already bad because I mentioned that I was tutoring Tuesday nights usually– mental note he doesn’t listen and if it’s this early not so cool in my book! I thought all was loss but the firefighter wrote back! Yeah!! He looks hot–at  least from his pictures if the are accurate.  He was working the past 24 hours so I guess that’s okay right? He’s only trying to save lives and such.  So he didn’t have enough time to write back.  Can’t hold him accountable for that right? As for the police officer/law enforcement guy–he didn’t write back for three days! I think that’s enough time to bag him right? After all it is email.  It takes two seconds to check email and if you are paying for a service they could check if they really want to!

Will keep you posted on what happens and if I ever end up actually going out on a date! Right now also communicating via email with guy at agency.  I have no idea what is happening exactly but he is amusing. Emailing with perfect stranger to pass the time is an interesting way to spend time but who knows what my happen right? Thoughts like serial killer go through my mind but perhaps that is just paranoia? Regardless perhaps I should forward his information to one of my friends just in case so the following scenario doesn’t happen–oh she was emailing with this guy who she met who worked at an agency.  What was his name? Oh I don’t know that.  What agency? Oh I don’t know that either,…

These are what a single gal needs to think about but perhaps I am one of the more paranoid ones,….
